Half way through Lorraine’s book and loving it. Her writing style and descriptions make me feel as if I am on the work.
A must read for those thinking of doing the walk and a substitute for those who won’t or can’t. You really get the opportunity to see the ability to contemplate and develop your thoughts. A great one-liner is ” I’m surprised that sometimes it is difficult to think of something to think about! – what a wonderful thought. Quite a useful history lesson too.

I read it in one sitting as it brought back many memories of my own journey. Well written and I highly recommend it for those that might be interested in walking the French Way or for those that just enjoy adventure stories.

I really liked the day to day approach as it captures the trials and tribulations that Lorraine experienced and her comment about the Way is comprised of thirds…physical, mental, and spiritual I found to be quite accurate.

An excellent account of determination and desire. No shortcuts are accepted and none should be permitted.
